Steven Fulop

In May of 2005, Steven was elected Jersey City councilman for Ward E. He
has focused on issues related to open space and transparency in
government. Prior to elected office, Steven was the former President of
both the Paulus Hook Association, the Downtown Community Neighborhood
Association, and served in the Marine Corps amongst the first troops
deployed to Iraq. He currently serves on the board for the Learning
Charter School in Jersey City which has distinguished itself with
superior academic performance.

Steven received his BA from Binghamton University, his MBA from NYU
Stern School of Business, and MPA from Columbia University.


Shelley Skinner

In March of 2007, Shelley Skinner founded the education advocacy group
Jersey City Families for Better Schools. The group has expanded to 250
members since its inception and will be receiving its 501 c4 status as a
political action committee in a matter of weeks. She was also recently
named Director of Development and Community Outreach for one Jersey's
cities best schools The Learning Community Charter School.

Shelley resides with her husband Travis and two children Ella and Hylan
in Hamilton Park.


Jimmy Carroll

Jim Carroll, Esq., is a lifelong, third generation, Jersey City resident
who was born and raised in the Heights section of Jersey City. Jim
maintains a part time private law practice in Jersey City and he
continues to serve as a sworn member of the Jersey City Police
Department for over 12 years. Carroll is involved in many community
groups including Hudson County We Care as well as a volunteer board
member for P.A.C.O., a Jersey City based, low income housing
organization.

Jim is married to Sharon, a grammar school teacher, and they have two
daughters, Chelsea & Madison.


Daniel Levin

A resident of Jersey City since 1996 and Hudson County since 1987, Mr.
Levin is a parent, small business owner and former credit union manager.
Mr. Levin has been a past President and board member of the Harsimus
Cove Association (HCA), and a former officer and founding director of
the Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy.


Aaron Morrill

A ten-year resident of Jersey City, Mr. Morrill is a businessman and
attorney. He was formerly a prosecutor in Kings County, New York, a
criminal defense attorney and civil litigator. He has served on the
Assigned Counsel Plan Central Screening Committee of the First Judicial
Department of New York and was Chairman of the Board of the Brooklyn
Music School.


Mahdi Hemingway

Mahdi is a life long resident of Jersey City, born and raised in the
Booker T. Washington public housing complex. Mahdi has formerly served
as coordinator of the Booker T. Washington after school program and as a
certified substitute teacher. Mr. Hemingway is an service member in the
United States Marine Corps., where he continues to serve as a reservist.

Mahdi received his BA from Bloomfield College. Hemingway is currently is
employed by a financial services brokerage firm.


Norrice Raymaker

Norrice is a resident of the Heights section of Jersey City and is a
board member of the community based initiative CivicJc which advocates
for the promotion of good municipal government practices through public
education and advocacy of progressive initiatives.
